La Liga Oculta de Magia was co-founded by Salvador and Juan in October 2025 after Salvador talked to Juan about coming back to Magic: The Gathering after a long break. Salvador, as one of the co-owners of Necromancy Cosmetica, started meeting up with Juan in the backroom of Necromancy to play Commander. After this, La Liga Oculta de Magia started recruiting people from the local community of businesses in Rio Piedras (San Juan, PR), including the local game store, Titan Games.
